These terms explain the rules for using Askorly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If a child is using Askorly, the parent or guardian agrees on their behalf.
1. Who can use Askorly
- Students aged 13 or older can sign up themselves.
- Children under 13 can use Askorly only through an account created and verified by a parent or guardian.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for the accounts they create for their children.
2. Your account
Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up.
3. Using Askorly well
- Use Askorly to learn. Do not try to trick the tutor into breaking its rules.
- Do not share harmful, abusive or unsafe content.
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not share other people's personal information.
4. The tutor is an AI
Askorly's tutor is an AI system. It is built to guide you with questions and hints, but it can make mistakes. Check important work with a teacher, textbook or other trusted source. Askorly does not replace a teacher.
5. Honest schoolwork
Askorly is designed to help you understand, not to do your work for you. For school accounts, the tutor explains and asks questions but does not write submissions, and teachers may see a log of the help given.
6. Our content and your content
We own Askorly, including its design, questions and lessons. You keep ownership of what you write. You allow us to process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. The service during the prototype stage
Askorly is an early prototype. It may change, be unavailable or contain errors, and it is provided as is. It is not yet offered to real students.
8. Limits on our responsibility
The extent to which we are responsible for loss or damage will be set out here after legal review for the countries where we launch.
9. Changes, ending and governing law
We may update these terms and will give notice of meaningful changes. You can stop using Askorly and delete your account at any time. The governing law and the place for resolving disputes will be confirmed with legal counsel before launch.
